How do you photograph weddings?
I love working alongside you the days leading up to the wedding day.
We work together to create a detailed timeline of your day.
On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique, not just a shot list.
Along with the natural, candid moments, I always include the traditional, posed portraits of the couple, wedding party and family. That way you have both to look back on.
When will we get our photos?
The first few days after your wedding I will send you some sneak peak photos for you to see and share. Within about 3 months (this could change depending on the season I capture your day) you will receive an online link to a gallery that includes all of the photos from your day.
Are you formally trained?
Yes! 8 years ago I was professionally trained in posing and lighting. I know how to make you look your best and where the light is the prettiest.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in the Metro Detroit area and yes I love to travel! If you want us to photograph your big day or event it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. If you are within 60 miles of the metro Detroit area, there will be no travel cost. If your location is outside 60 miles, it will cost $0.72 per mile traveled. If the location of your venue is more than a 2 hour drive, a place to stay the night of your wedding is required.
Will you help with the planning process?
Yes! That's the most overwhelming part and that's why I am here to help. Once you book your wedding with us, I send over some tips and suggestions to get you started.
A few months before your wedding we sit down and plan out your day, so I know when and where I need to be.
